AGLOCO Viewbar FAQ

What is the Viewbar?

The Viewbar is a small toolbar that rests on the bottom of your screen or browser window while you surf the Internet. The Viewbar software is what enables AGLOCO to collect the money you are earning while browsing the Internet.

The Viewbar keeps track of your online interests and preferences, and uses that information to deliver the most valuable message to you at the right time. Because privacy is a core principle of AGLOCO, the Viewbar communicates with AGLOCO secure servers in an encrypted fashion to keep your information private.

Is it SECURE ?

Some people have asked: "Is the Viewbar some kind of spyware?" The answer is simple: The Viewbar is the opposite of spyware. Spyware sneaks onto your computer without your knowledge or permission, it steals your private information, and it’s nearly impossible to remove. Unlike spyware, the Viewbar is completely permission based, it keeps your information private, and you can always turn it off with a single click.

Additional Features

The Viewbar also has many additional features:

Search (which lets us get you money from search engine companies)

Contextual ads (which lets us get you money from advertisers)

Anti-fraud and other software utilities (which lets us get you money from software companies)

How do I download the Viewbar?

First, sign in to your account. On your account page, there will be a button that says "Download Viewbar". Click that button and follow the instructions on screen to download the Viewbar (when prompted, click "run" instead of "save").

I am having a problem installing and using the Viewbar. What do I do?

Here are some common errors:
Viewbar is compatible with Windows, Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Mac and Linux versions are not available yet.
You should hit "run" instead of "save" during the installation process
You may have a firewall block you (With firewalls the Viewbar needs an OK for its viewbar.exe program and its update.exe program otherwise it will not function).
You need to put in your correct Member ID and password (if you can not remember yours, go to the AGLOCO website sign in page and request a new password)

What is my Member ID?

You can always use the email address you became a Member with to get access to your account or your Viewbar

What is my password?

Go the AGLOCO website sign in page and click on lost password

What are the features of the Viewbar? How does it work?

We’ll address the Viewbar’s features from left-to right:

Options: Right-Clicking on the "AGLOCO" logo on the left-hand side of the Viewbar brings up several options. In addition to access to the AGLOCO website and your Account page,

- Dock: You can choose to dock the Viewbar at the top or the bottom of the screen

- Skin: The Viewbar is currently available in four colors: Blue (default), Green, Red, and Purple

- Language: The Viewbar is currently available in both English and Chinese

- Advanced Options: These include a place to put your proxy settings (if you access the internet through a proxy) and your auto-update settings.

Accrual Indicator: The second letter "o" in the AGLOCO logo tells you whether you are currently accumulating AGLOCO Hours. If it is green, you are. If the indicator is red, you are not currently accumulating hours (most likely because either you are not actively browsing the internet or because you have already reached your monthly maximum).

Ad space: The largest space on the Viewbar is for a text ad. If you see something interesting, click on the ad to check it out! The ad will open a new tab or browser window, so your current browser will not be interrupted.

Search: Conduct your internet searches using the toolbar. We have several search engines available, including Google, Yahoo, or Amazon.

- To select your search engine: Click the logo on the left-hand side of the search field and a drop down menu of all available engines will appear

- To search: Type your query in the search field and either hit "enter" on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass button.

Favorites and Tools: The "gear" button has tools for AGLOCO Members. Currently, the tools are simple, but this section of the Viewbar will be expanded over time.

- Favorites: The Viewbar has all your favorite websites from Internet Explorer and Firefox, as well as a few AGLOCO-selected websites

- Tools: Right now this enables you access to the Windows calculator and Windows calendar. This capability will be expanded with more tools in future Viewbar versions

Minimize: The down arrow on the right side of the Viewbar minimizes the Viewbar software. When minimized, the Viewbar will be off your screen and will not be monitoring your internet surfing. You will not accumulate hours for the time the Viewbar is minimized.

Ads aren’t showing up properly on my Viewbar. What do I do?

Try waiting a few minutes, as we may be conducting routine maintenance on the ad server or experiencing another temporary issue. If that doesn’t work, try restarting the Viewbar. To restart the Viewbar, right click on the Viewbar icon (a green "o") in the Windows icon trey on the lower-right hand corner of your screen, and select "quit". Then, right click again on the Viewbar logo and select "sign in".

How do I log in as another Member from the same computer?

There should be an AGLOCO icon in the icon trey on the lower-right hand corner of your screen (a Green ‘o’ ). Right-click this icon and select "sign out". Then, right click on the icon again and click "sign-in". The sign-in screen will pop up and you can sign in as a new Member.

How do I get credit for using the Viewbar?

Simply surf the internet while the Viewbar is visible on the screen. The software calculates the time you spend actively surfing and tallies it. The current maximum is 5 hours/month. You also get credit for your referrals’ surfing.

How do I minimize the Viewbar and get it off my desktop?

Click the down arrow on the right side of the Viewbar. When minimized, the Viewbar will be off your screen and will not be monitoring your internet surfing. You will not accumulate hours for the time the Viewbar is minimized.

I access Interner from Cyber cafe. What do I do ?
You can request the sysadmin to install it and ensure that you are logged in for the time you browse Internet.

First let me thank you for giving your precious time and visiting my blog. Your feedback on my posts and blog is highly invaluable. It would be great if you can share your thoughts/feedback with me.

Now lets look at why or why not is this a golden opportunity.

Let me be devil's advocate and look at your apprehensions.

1. Is it safe to use Viewbar: This was the first fear I had when I read about this। I went googling and read lot of reviews. Not only that, on youtube there are lot of videos which talk about this. Its NOT a spyware. Actually its this tool which will help AGLOCO collect money from advertisers, search companies, online merchants. I have been using this for last 3 months and find it just like Google toolbar with the difference that it sits at the bottom.

2. Only max 5 hours per month are paid: This was a question which many of my friends raised. In their opinion, this is very less. But if you see someone is paying you for just browsing the net, isn't it great? Not only that, when someone in your network surfs the net, you get paid for that also. Believe me, if you are reading this now, you are one of the lucky ones who knows about this network. I can't guarantee that this will grow as big as the size of e-bay, Amazon etc. But at the moment it surely is the fastest growing network and how big it will grow, we can't say. If this happens, you will be one of those lucky ones like those who made millions in AMWAY.

Now lets look at advantages

1. Financial freedom: Most of us who are in jobs are in a risky situation. We work for some company. So we are dependent on one party for our source of income. Also the day we stop going to work, these payments stop. Instead of getting my income, if I were given the option of getting it in small pieces from say million different sources, then I would prefer the latter. This is the core concept behind network marketing.

2. You decide your schedule: There is no schedule about when you want to start recommending your friends and how much time you give. You can do it when you like. Once your network has reached a significant size, you need not keep on worrying about expanding your network. There would be others who are doing this for you and you are sort of getting a royalty income.

3. Its FREE

4. No Direct Selling: In networks like AMWAY, to become a member you had to buy a kit of about Rs 5000. When you recommended it to someone, that someone also had to shell out Rs 5000. So it is damn difficult. Literally its selling which not everyone can do. Here its not like that. There is no monetary transaction involved when someone has to join.

5. Its totally home based: All you need is a PC/laptop. If you are a homemaker, then you can utilize your free time at home expanding your network.

6. Global: Location does not matter. Their rates as of now are same for any country.

7. Growth Potential: In early 90s when INFOSYS went to premier colleges, people were not sure if they should join or not. Those who joined are millionaires. Those who joined AMWAY 6-7 years back, made tons of money. Key is if you are one of the first ones and if the company is success, you know very well where you are headed. After doing lot of research on new based home business, this was one which caught my eye. I am fully convinced. And am trying to convince others.

8. Privacy
When someone joins you, you don’t get to see who it is. AGLOCI is committed to Privacy.

9. Shares; When AGLOCO becomes public, you can convert your hours earned to company’s shares.

Here is an update on distributions to Members:
Since AGLOCO started its Viewbar in June, we have been working to deliver an early money distribution plan that will be work for both Members and AGLOCO at this time. It was decided to start with the AGLOCO Monthly Residual Payments. These are small monthly payments which will be made for hours earned each month and paid monthly for 10 years. The following rates have been set (amounts are expressed in US currency):
• June $0.48 per hour - ($0.0040 per month for 120 months)
• July $0.42 per hour - ($0.0035 per month for 120 months)
• August $0.54 per hour - ($0.0045 per month for 120 months)

If you see, the average rate is about 5o cents per month. Which means if you target about USD 500 per month to begin with (which will surely increase when your network grows), you are targeting about 1000 Hrs per month. From your own account you get 5. However it is not clear if your direct referral or extended referral is completing 5 hrs per month, how much you will gain. When I started and had just one direct referral, I could fine out that my direct referral had completed about 3.5 hrs but it was showing in my account as 0.2. 3. Next Steps

To begin with, you can become a member.

Once you join, download the Viewbar and start using it. You may have some difficulties installing and using it. Sometimes the server is busy and you may not be able to login. You got to keep your patience.
Next step will be to start building your network. You will need to spread the word around. Already lots of people are doing it and joining the bandwagon. But only that may not be sufficient. In my next post I am going to write about the usage and details on Viewbar. This is the gateway through which AGLOCO is going to make money.
